Printing Details

This 3D Miniature consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 1 and Version 2 are the files for Goku 3D Miniature optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • to print Version 1 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers;
  • to print Version 2 STL files on DLP/SLA/SLS 3D printers.

HISTORY OF GOKU

The most striking features of Goku are his cheerful nature, energy, and love of fighting. Since Goku is a Sayan, he has an innate passion for battles and an outstanding fighting intuition. The stronger the opponent the more Goku gets the pleasure from the fight. Goku's instincts can lead to the fact that after long battles, he can decide to spare his opponent, even if he tried to kill him or was somehow involved in the death of his loved ones. In the battle, Goku observes his unspoken statutes trying to get rid of the opponents "honestly" so in some cases he can even help his opponent. His manifestations of Sayan blood often lead Goku to very critical situations - for example, when together with Vejeta destroyed a single pair of earrings Potara hoping to hold a long battle with Pure Magin Buu, the desire to fight on their own, despite everything, and overestimating their own luck. However, Goku recognizes his mistakes and always bears responsibility for them. He saved the Earth from self-destruction. Sella teleported with him to the North Cayo planet and died with him and refusing to Potar thought through the risks, doing this not so much with desire as through force.

ABOUT THIS 3D MINIATURE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 5 parts;
- Made in combat pose;
- Made with platform;
- All parts are divided in such way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.

SLS/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but made as 1 part.

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.2.1. Software.

There are 5 parts for FFF/FDM version and 1 part for SLS/SLA version.

Scale: His height in life is 1780 mm. Model made as 1/8 scale in FDM version and 1/16 in SLS/SLA version.

FDM version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 227 mm tall, 199 mm wide, 206 mm deep;

SLS/SLA version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 114 mm tall, 100 mm wide, 103 mm deep;
- Has only 1 detail, to keep printing costs down.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use, and especially the particular assembly part you are working with. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review, and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

Note:

  • You can scale up the model (downscaling for FFF/FDM 3D printers is not recommended!);
  • All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill.

Cura printing recommendations:

These are averaged settings which were tested in the Cura 5.2.1 slicer. Test models were printed on Anycubic Vyper, Creality Ender 3 Pro with PLA filament.

These are averaged settings which were tested in the Simplify3D 5.0.0 slicer. Test models were printed on Anycubic Vyper, FLSUN v400, Ender3 S1 with PLA filament.

These basic 3D printing settings recommendations for beginners were tested in Slic3r 1.3.0 software. Test models were printed on Ultimaker 2, Creality Ender 3, Creality Cr-10S pro v2, Anycubic I3 Mega, Anycubic I3 MegaS, Anycubic Vyper with PLA and PetG filaments.
