Printing Details

This 3D Miniature consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 1, Version 2 and Version 3 for The Defeated Iron Man 3D Miniature optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • to print Version 1 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers;
  • to print Version 2 STL files on DLP/SLA 3D printers.
  • to print Version 3 STL files on SLS 3D printers.

HISTORY OF THIS SCENE

The second part of the diorama, which is executed in the form of the defeated Iron Man. This scene depicts the victory of Thanos over the Avengers and the Iron Man in particular. Thanos waved his hand to clench his fist and destroy the iron man just before Dr. Strange gave him the stone of time. He did this because Dr. Strange saw 14 million options for the development of events, but only one way to win. Thanos did not know about this, so in return for a stone of time spared Tony Stark and besides, he did not hide that he respected him as an adversary. In this diorama, one of the key scenes in the movie The Avengers of the Infinite War is depicted.

ABOUT THIS 3D MINIATURE

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- This 3D miniature is part of the “Iron Man vs. Thanos” diorama;
- Contains 10 parts;
- Made with Locks. One part of Lock (4_Ge_lock_7S (x5)) you need to print 5 times;
- Contains an extra head and arm parts for the original version of Thanos 3D Printing Miniature;
- All parts are divided in such way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.

DLP/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but smaller, also made as 7 parts;

SLS version features:
- Same as SLA but made as 2 parts for economy your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.3.1. or Simplify3D softwares.

There are 10 parts for FFF/FDM version, 7 parts for SLA version and 2 part for SLS.

Scale: Height of Thanos is 2042 mm. The scale of the Defeated Iron Man was made in proportion to him. 1/8 for FDM version and 1/16 for SLS/SLA version.

FDM version dimensions:
After being printed will stand -  213 mm tall, 325 mm wide, 173 mm deep;

SLS/DLP/​SLA version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 107 mm tall, 163 mm wide, 87 mm deep;
- Has a few details, to keep printing costs down.
