Playing games, which was once considered to be a waste of time by many, is now a source of earning as new professional players continue to come in every day.<\/p>\n<p>The first known video competition took place on the 19th of October 1972 at Stanford University for a game named Spacewar which featured two spaceships engaged in a dogfight while navigating in the gravity well of a star. This was later followed by Space Invaders Championship which was held by Atari in 1980 which was a large-scale video game competition with over 10000 participants across the United States.<\/p>\n<p>It was after 1990 that many online video games got recognition and benefited from increasing internet connectivity. Today, innumerable online tournaments like Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Dota 2, Call of Duty, League of Legends are being held each year with over thousands of professional players and teams participating in each tournament.<\/p>\n<p><em>Gambody offers another approach to online and video games &#8211; that of 3D printing content. From characters to various items, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gambody.com\/\">3D printing miniatures<\/a> and figurines are sought after by many fans of video and online games.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Esports industry is a massive industry and has always been growing. After experiencing a double-digit growth for the past several years, today, eSports industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and is a new potential for growth opportunities.
