🎃 Halloween is coming up, so I thought I’d share a mask I 3D-printed and painted myself - Billy the Puppet from Saw! 💀 What caught my attention was the moving jaw. How cool is that?! 😂 It’s such a fun little feature and makes the mask way more interesting than a regular static one.

⚠️ Quick tip! The mask is originally sized for an adult, so if you’re planning to print it for a kid, I’d recommend scaling it down by at least 20%.

For the print, I used some basic gray Bambu Lab PLA. Nothing fancy! I covered the entire mask with matte black acrylic spray primer, then applied two coats of matte white paint to the front. I actually wanted to avoid making it perfectly white, so the black underneath helped give it a slightly darker, more worn look. Next, I grabbed a wet brush and added a subtle yellowish tint using diluted acrylic paint. I think it turned out pretty great! 😁 After that, I carefully painted the eyes and cheeks with some regular old acrylic paints. Nothing too complicated - just a bit of patience and a steady hand.

And of course, what’s Billy without his iconic accessories? 😂 The bow tie and wig were cheap finds from China, and honestly, the quality was surprisingly good. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out. Now it’s time to scare some kids! 😂🔪

Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃🖤
