To ensure stability for the heavier 1911 pistol, I used the following settings:
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Walls: 4Top/Bottom Layers: 4
Infill: 25% or higher Infil pattern:
I used Gyroid but any pattern for strength should work. If in doubt raise the infill %.
Slicer: Tested with Orca Slicer and printed on my K1 Max.
In the Bambu Studio slicer (multi-color print) using my Bambu Labs P1S with AMS I used generic OD Green PLA, generic Brown PLA, and Bambu Jade White PLA for a striking, authentic look. This can be customized with whatever colors you would like to use however. Gambody would not let me upload my pre-painted 3MF file created in Bambu Studio. If you purchase the model and would like this file to try out please contact me and I will send it. Purchase of this model on Gamboy is required however.
