Description
Ancient Oak Guardian Dragon STL File for 3D Print - Description

3D model description

Awaken the spirit of the ancient forest with the magnificent Ancient Oak Guardian Dragon, a highly detailed 3D printable fantasy sculpture inspired by legendary woodland creatures, ancient trees, and the raw magic of nature.

This powerful forest dragon appears as though it has grown directly from the roots of an enchanted oak tree. Its body combines rugged bark-like scales, twisting branches, exposed roots, vibrant green foliage, golden leaves, and decorative acorns to create a spectacular fusion of dragon and living forest.

The enormous wings resemble ancient tree branches covered in dense leaves and hanging acorns, while the dragon's impressive horns twist upward like weathered branches. Piercing eyes, powerful claws, an armored chest, and an imposing stance give this woodland guardian a majestic and mysterious presence.

At the base, massive intertwined roots spread outward beneath the dragon, creating a richly textured natural platform filled with leaves, vines, moss-like details, and forest elements. The elaborate base makes the sculpture visually impressive from every viewing angle.

Whether displayed in a living room, office, fantasy collection, gaming room, hobby space, or collector's cabinet, the Ancient Oak Guardian Dragon makes an extraordinary centerpiece for dragon enthusiasts and lovers of nature-inspired fantasy art.

Designed for both FDM and Resin 3D printing, the model offers an incredible painting opportunity with countless possibilities for bark tones, autumn foliage, moss effects, metallic accents, and magical color schemes.

FDM Print Recommendations

Layer Height: 0.12–0.20 mm

Nozzle: 0.4 mm recommended

Infill: 10–15%

Material: PLA or PLA+

Supports: Recommended beneath the wings, branches, horns, claws, foliage, acorns, and other significant overhangs.

Orientation: Print upright where practical. For a multipart version, print individual components in orientations that minimize supports.

Tips: Slower printing speeds are recommended to preserve the intricate bark, foliage, root, and scale textures.

🧪 Resin Print Recommendations

Layer Height: 0.03–0.05 mm

Resin Type: Standard or ABS-like resin

Supports: Medium supports for major structural areas with lighter supports for leaves, branches, horns, claws, and smaller details.

Orientation: Approximately 30–45° depending on individual part geometry.

Post-Processing: Wash thoroughly and fully cure after printing.

Tips: Hollow larger components where appropriate and add sufficient drainage holes. Take extra care when removing supports around the delicate foliage and branch details.
