Recommended Print Settings
I. FDM (Filament) Printers - Best for Wearables
- Layer Height: 0.16 mm (Good balance of speed and smoothness for a face mask).
- Infill: 15% (Gyroid).
- Walls: 3 Walls (For durability).
- Supports:Tree (Auto) supports are ESSENTIAL.
- Support Placement: Everywhere (The nose, chin, and ears will need support).
- Orientation: Print the mask mostly vertical, tilted slightly back (about 45 degrees) to get the smoothest surface quality on the face.
II. Resin Printers
- Not recommended for full-size wearable masks unless you have a large-format printer (like a Jupiter or Saturn), as resin can be heavy and brittle.
