3D model description
This adorable chicken/rooster pendant features layered feather detail, a heart held gently between its wings and an integrated hanging loop — perfect as a necklace charm, bag accessory, keychain or small collectible. The sculpt preserves fine surface detail while remaining friendly to hobbyist printers.
The model is single-piece and watertight. The loop at the top accepts a jump ring or cord, and the decorative base allows the piece to stand if printed at larger sizes.
Use cases: pendant, keychain, small gift, Valentine’s charm, printable collectible.
3D printing settings
FDM (filament)
Nozzle: 0.4 mm recommended
Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (0.12 mm for maximum detail)
Walls/perimeters: 2–3
Top/bottom layers: 6+
Infill: 15–25%
Orientation: base down / loop at top — preserves face & heart detail
Supports: minimal — usually only under the loop and minor undercuts; use tree or touchpoint supports to protect feathers
Bed adhesion: small brim (3–8 mm) recommended for small bases
Resin (SLA/DLP)
Layer height: 0.025–0.05 mm
Orientation: tilt ~20–30° with supports on the back and base — avoid supports on the face and heart
Supports: small touchpoints; place on the back and bottom to keep sculpt detail pristine
Hollowing & drainage: if you scale > ~80–100 mm, hollow the model and add 4–6 mm drain holes to save resin and avoid suction during printing
