3D printing model features
Elsdon Castle is a historic medieval castle site in Elsdon, Northumberland, England. The site is associated with the motte-and-bailey tradition of castle construction, which used an elevated earthwork and an enclosed defensive area. This 3D-printable architectural model represents the historic castle site in miniature, emphasizing the form of an early medieval fortification and its surrounding layout. The model is about 43 mm tall, with an approximate footprint of 170 x 220 mm. It is suitable for collectors of medieval castles, enthusiasts of Northumberland history, students of defensive architecture, and creators of historical dioramas. The miniature is especially relevant to collections featuring Norman-era fortifications, earthwork castles, and historic English landscapes. Printed size: about 220 x 170 mm footprint and 43 mm tall - sized to fit a standard 256 x 256 mm print bed in one piece (display model, not to scale). Print-ready model: the file was prepared and sliced before publishing, so you know it reaches the plate cleanly. Sliced with 0.20 mm layer height, a 0.4 mm nozzle, 20% cubic infill, 2 wall loops and PLA (supports: normal(auto)). Profile prepared on a Bambu Lab A1. Both the STL and the sliced 3MF project are included.
