Nozzle: 0.4 mm recommended
Infill: 15–20%
Material: PLA or PLA+
Walls: 3–4 walls recommended
Supports: Recommended beneath the shell bowls, hooks, mermaid arms, hair, tail fins, coral and significant decorative overhangs.
Orientation: Print individual components on their designated flat surfaces where practical.
Tips: Use slower printing speeds to preserve the facial details, flowing hair, tail scales, shell ridges and delicate coral textures.
🧪 RESIN PRINT RECOMMENDATIONS
Layer Height: 0.03–0.05 mm
Resin Type: Standard or ABS-like resin
Supports: Use light to medium supports around the shell edges, hooks, hair, arms, tail fins, coral and starfish.
Orientation: Tilt individual components approximately 30–45° where appropriate.
Post-Processing: Wash thoroughly and fully cure after printing.
Tips: Carefully remove supports around the mermaid’s hair, fingers, shell rims, hooks and coral tips to preserve the finely sculpted surfaces.
