Printing Information
This model was designed around:
Material: PETG (Recommended)
Layer Height: 0.20 mm
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Supports: Only where required
Standard Parts: 20% infill
Ball joints, structural parts, and high-stress components: 100% infill
Pin System
To keep this project affordable, the design intentionally uses materials that most builders already have.
Gray Pins — Wire clothes hanger or 2.2 mm steel pin
Blue Pins — Standard 1.75 mm printer filament
Purple Pins — Paperclip (.8 mm)
No specialty pin kits required.
Important Information
Because every printer is different, some fitting may be required.
Depending on your printer's tolerances, you may need to:
Sand parts
File edges
Ream holes
Drill holes for proper pin fit
Recommended drill sizes:
3/64" — Paperclip pins
5/64" — Filament pins
3/32" — Wire hanger pins
This is a normal part of many precision mechanical 3D printed builds.
Material Notice
This model was engineered around the flexibility and strength characteristics of PETG.
Printing in PLA or other materials is entirely at your own risk. Performance, durability, and fitment cannot be guaranteed when using materials other than PETG.
