What is Gambody’s “Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest”?

The striking variety of unconventional artistic decisions and painting techniques that our 3D printing enthusiasts use is just as diverse as the creators themselves. However, the undeniable front-runner among them is, of course, airbrushing.

Thus, our very special Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest welcomes every dedicated fan of this painting technique and 3D printing to compete for a chance to be published on the pages of the Airbrush Step by Step magazine, as well as in the digital version of the issue. Every 1-2 months there will be selected 5 lucky winners who will also be granted a pleasant bonus from Gambody!

How do I take part in the “Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest”?

The very first thing you would need to do is 3D print the project you most desire using any of the models featured in the vast catalogue of Gambody marketplace and breathe life into it using your loyal airbrushing set. Then, take nice pictures of your finished result, share them with us and other 3D printing enthusiasts in our Facebook group “Gambody – 3D Printing Community” and trust in your luck!

Make sure to thoroughly follow the Rules of the Contest

  • The 3D printing model featured in your project must be purchased on Gambody marketplace.
  • The competing model must be mainly painted with an airbrush.
  • One person can take part in the contest numerous times.
  • One and the same model can only participate in the contest once.
  • The pictures of your work must be published in our official Gambody – 3D Printing Community in a separate post, not in the comment section.
  • When publishing your post, use the #airbrush tag to let us know you’re participating in the contest.
  • Have fun!

How often are the lucky winners selected?

The contest lasts over a period of 1-3 calendar months (e.g. the second Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest lasted from 1st February, 00:01 GMT until 31st March, 23:59 GMT) and only works submitted during this period are considered. The 5 winners are announced in the nearest time upon the term’s completion in our Facebook group. The third Airbrushed 3D Prints Contest will take place from May 4th until June 30th, 2021, so make sure to prepare your stunning works and participate!

What were the results of the previous Airbrushed 3D Prints Contests?
