When the trees begin to blossom, and nature starts to awaken from the long winter days, it is great to look back at February trends in 3D printing community. The last winter month of the leap year turned many talented minds towards video game models to 3D print, paint and share in Gambody group on Facebook. Men and women crafted many remarkable characters and robots from popular StarCraft, World of Warcraft, Witcher and MechWarrior Online games.
Fans of BattleTech universe and MechWarrior video games love the giant robots. Perfect war machines can combat for hours in a row in games. They look convincing in the wargaming franchise, and they look fantastic in MechWarrior 3D print collection on the shelves.
We are proud of how many talented Gambody enthusiasts have taken part in our Hall of Fame project. This idea was announced at the end of 2018, and since then it has quickly grown into a real competition of superior, beautiful and brilliant 3D printed figurines. It is getting more challenging to choose the winners because there are so many trending 3D prints shared by authors. Thus, we would like to extend the idea of honouring the makers of spectacular figurines through the monthly digest of the finalized models’ photos shared on Facebook.
Guess who’s back, back again?
The beautiful season of snowy weather and cozy evenings never discontinues its profound influence on people’s imagination, mood and often urges to discover new things. And isn’t all new is well overlooked old? We are coming back with our regular roundup Pick of the Month!
Knock! Knock! September is in full swing rushing into our lives and reminding us that summer is over. It means that we have little time to gather together the best 3D printing figurines the members of Gambody 3D Printing Gaming Community have shared during the last month of summer.
Is it summer yet?
According to the calendar, it is. We’re halfway through June which means we have some debts to pay to May. The roundup of your 3D printed figurines for the month of May hasn’t been shared yet. Apologies for the delay but the warm nights and long sunny days are to blame.
August at Gambody was definitely MechWarrior Online month. There were many fascinating mechs’ models released. Though they can seem all the same to the person who hasn’t played the game, real fans know the difference. So, here we go with our August roundup.
Here we are at the end of 2016 – a year full of new beginnings and achievements. We started with big expectations. We didn’t hope to have such a large audience reach but we are happy to say that thanks to you, our community, our expectations have been surpassed.
