3D model description
A cute, stylized baby crocodile sitting upright and holding a decorative basket in its lap. The character features chibi-style proportions with a large rounded head, compact body, and short, chunky limbs. The crocodile has a wide snout with a gentle smile, big round eyes, small nostrils, and two tiny visible teeth. Soft rounded dorsal bumps run along the top of the head and back.
The arms rest on the rim of the basket, while the short legs extend forward with rounded feet and visible paw pads. A gently curved tail extends behind the body. The basket is bowl-shaped with a thick rounded rim, engraved leaf patterns around the sides, and a rope-style texture along the top edge. The overall design is smooth, friendly, and cartoon-like.
3D printing settings
FDM (Filament Printing)
Print in PLA or a similar filament. Use a layer height of 0.2 mm for standard quality or 0.16 mm for finer detail. Set 2–3 perimeters with a top and bottom thickness of at least 1.2 mm. Use 10–15% infill. Print the model upright, sitting flat on the build plate. Supports are optional; if used, enable light supports from the build plate only under the basket and arms. Add a small brim if extra adhesion is needed.
Resin Printing
Print with standard or ABS-like resin. Orient the model slightly tilted to reduce suction. Use a layer height of 0.05 mm for good detail or 0.03 mm for high detail. Add medium supports under the basket, chin, and feet. After printing, wash thoroughly, remove supports carefully, and fully cure according to resin manufacturer guidelines.
