Description
Rhino with Gift Basket - Description

3D model description

A cute, stylized baby rhinoceros sitting upright in a relaxed pose. The character has chibi-style proportions with a large rounded head, compact body, and short, thick limbs. The rhino’s legs extend slightly forward, and its arms are bent inward as it holds a basket in its lap.

The head is smooth and rounded, with two small rounded ears placed symmetrically on top. A short, softly rounded horn sits centered above the nose. The eyes are large, round, and set wide apart, giving a friendly expression. Subtle eyebrow shapes appear above the eyes. The snout is gently rounded with shallow nostrils and a small curved smile engraved near the mouth.

The body is oval and softly shaped, flowing smoothly into the head with no visible neck. The arms are chunky and rounded, resting on the rim of the basket. The legs are short and thick, with rounded feet facing forward. Each foot shows a large central pad and three smaller toe pads.

The basket is bowl-shaped with a thick rounded rim and gently sloping sides. A decorative leaf pattern is engraved around the outer surface, and the rim has a rope-like texture. The basket sits naturally in the rhino’s lap and is integrated into the overall figure.

The entire figure has smooth, rounded surfaces and a soft, friendly appearance.

3D printing settings

This model is designed for easy and reliable 3D printing. Print in PLA or similar filament for best surface detail and smooth finish. A layer height of 0.2 mm provides a good balance between detail and print time, while 0.16 mm can be used for finer results. Use 2–3 perimeters and a top and bottom thickness of at least 1.2 mm. An infill of 10–15% is sufficient for strength while keeping material use low.

Print the model upright, sitting flat on the build plate. Supports are optional; if enabled, use light supports touching the build plate only to assist under the basket and arms. A brim can be added if extra bed adhesion is needed.
