Printed most of the model (at 200 odd pieces, I may have missed a few bits lol). Roughly put together, it looks amazing, not to mention much bugger than I imagined. I'm also currently programming up an Arduino mega for lighting, which is working out well, but not perfect due to limitations of both my knowledge , and limitations of the Arduino programming. The only thing I see that is missing is the fact that the instructions could be a little clearer as to if pieces should be glued together or not, obviously user choice works too though :). Pictures will come at some point when its completed, but its slow going due to the fact that I'm using a battery operated air brush, and only get about 20 mins at a time to paint it.
I was a bit leery about printing something like this. But after the front body and cockpit was printed I knew it will be good looking.
Here it is in pre-paint. Not sure of the colour scheme, yet.
Did it with Bambulab P2S and black PLA, using the parameters for Bambulab.
First printed the head top with transparent filament but it was not has clear has in the picture here so painted glossy black making it more realistic.
Everything fit 100% no sanding or grinding but I stil used cryacinate liquid glue.
Thanks for this well done
I've always wanted this APC. Many times I was on the brink of buying a toy online. When it came to Gambody, I attempted printing it right away, but my bedslinger printers did it no justice. I was not until I bout a Core XY printer that I was able to pull it off. I roughed mine up with weathering and decided not to light it up. I went with a 200% upscale. My print measures over 22 inches long. A great model.
While still waiting for resin stock to print this I was very impressed with the detail of the model and have since purchased the Hyper jump ring to go with it.
Meant to add photos to the review.
Overall very nice model, do wish the thruster pods on the sides were not attached, but otherwise no real complaints at all.
Weathering and decals not done yet, but otherwise finished, if a model is ever really finished.
I love robocop,. alike most other prints from Gambody I upscale them and this was no different. 1:1 scale and file integrity held perfectly. The detail is epic but i also like both heads with and without helmet so I can change them at will whenever the feeling takes me. You wont be disappointed!
OK, this is awesome! the print is long and it does take a while to custom pain to get the cool look, but with my H2D made printing it easy. No waste with the dual colors. I was thinking of lighting this up but could not find a good way to do it with one battery source.
One note to anyone else, follow the directions. I used 15% infill and it suggests 5 to 6 percent. This made this model almost 7lbs. I had to do a very solid mount. Great print!
Amazing file to work with, the model was a real pleasure to print and paint. Everything fits perfectly and the final result is very satisfying.
I upscaled the FFF model from 100 to 150. Detail turned out amazing. I still have to add the antennas. But these should provide a good idea.
An absolute monster of a build. And it has great details And the addon packages makes this exceptional detailed an fun print. I is estimated to use 11kg of filament and 750 hours of print time on my Bambu A1.
Very good STL model for print. It was a fun to make it and paint. Finished model is a great add on to my home cinema room and Alien's movies collection.
Given this is one of my favourite starships, I absolutely had to make it! I spent a looooong time (far longer than I'd like to admit) in Orca recolouring everything so this could be printed in full multi colour on the Snapmaker U1 :) This takes 105 hours in full colour with a tool changer, I would not recommend printing in colour on a none tool changing printer, but well worth putting the time in, as it took less time than masking and painting would have to get this just perfect :) I've added photo's of the build to feedback so you can see for yourself how well this build works :) ... Couldn't be happier with this!
This has always been one of my favorite star ships. This print went well and no real issues. Stick with the recommended settings and things will go smooth. this was printed on a P1S and my H2D for the multi color. Thank you for such a awesome model!
very well supported, hollowed, etc. nicely detailed as well. wish the instructions were a little more clear on the assembly options but they were enough to figure it out
As with all the other models I’ve gotten from Gambody, these files printed perfectly. I’d been wanting an F14 model since I started printing a year ago. You guys should do more ships from Star Gate series like the BC-304 Daedalus and Prometheus.
Amazing model. Not 100% screen accurate but very close. Printed nicely with resin and the pieces went together smoothly. I made him about 35cm tall. I didn't print the base as I wanted him to be free standing. Keep up the good work.
The print files are perfectly prepared and beautifully sliced, making the 3D‑printing process smooth and trouble‑free. I was especially impressed by the level of detail – every little fold, contour, and expression comes out beautifully and gives the final model a truly high‑quality look.
I can 100% recommend this file. Anyone looking to print a Baby Yoda model that not only looks great but is also technically well‑designed will be more than satisfied.
The bust is amazing the detail is incredible and it fits together perfectly, I printed her in resin and supported her in a way so there is very little clean up, fur and suit text just pop can’t wait to paint !
Not the best picture but awesome model with great detail. Thanks. Printed it on Creality k1c without presets and didn't have any problems.
