ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
Enterprise NX-01 is the first warp 5 starship of Starfleet, launched in 2151 under the command of Captain Jonathan Archer. As Earth's pioneer deep-space explorer, it played a crucial role in early Federation history, encountering new alien species, engaging in first contact missions, and facing threats like the Xindi. Its sleek NX-class design, experimental technology, and plasma cannons made it a formidable vessel in the pre-Federation era.
The long-awaited Enterprise NX-01 model for 3D printing is now available on Gambody, thanks to the great effort of our contributing 3D artist, who created the starship inspired by its canonical design. The tunnels for LED lighting allow you to illuminate the ship. Additionally, there are two variants of the hull—one with and one without lettering. The Enterprise NX-01 for 3D printing is sure to brighten your Star Trek 3D-printed collection.
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Enterprise NX-01 model for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 113 hours in total.
For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible, minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, and make use of the active elements designed by Gambody Engineers, the starship was divided into convenient assembly parts.
All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won’t face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model’s file you will also receive “Assembly Manual” for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF and video formats. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and “Assembly Manual” before getting down to the Enterprise NX-01 printing model.
The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The model’s scale was calculated from the length of the starship. The 3D printing model’s chosen scales are 1:350 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:700 for the DLP/SLA version.

The number of cables increases while adding Leds. The colors match the color of the led. Most of them are WS2812B leds. On this pic I used WAGO connectors and 0.14mm² cables. In the WAGOs are 30 cables atm. The outlet slot to the nacelle could be 5mm longer to make wiring easyer.
