Description

HISTORY OF HEISEI GODZILLA

Godzilla is a giant ancient kaiju. He first appeared in 1954. Godzilla attacked the capital of Japan, Tokyo. All kinds of military equipment shot at him, but everything was unsuccessful. It turns out that Godzilla has strong armor. About this monster came out 30 films. Godzilla swims well and knows how to shoot an atomic beam. In the films, Godzilla's atomic beam is usually blue. He was a villain rushing at home and destroying military equipment, but he also fought with alien monsters and saved people from evil creatures such as Hadora, Gaigan, Mechagodzilla. The growth and weight of the monster varied in different films. For your attention is given the Godzilla from the Heisei era, he reached a height of 80-100 meters and a mass of 50,000-60000 tons.

ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

This model has an update that includes new FFF/FDM 1.1 version. Now this model is adapted for small bildplates and contain 47 partsThe model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

 FFF/FDM 1.1 version features:
- Contain 47 parts;
- Made with Locks for better fixing. One part of Lock (47_Ge_lock_10H(34)_FDM) you need to print 34 times.
- Made with platform that divided on 5 parts for small buildplates;
- All parts are divided in such way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports. 

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contain 11 parts;
- Made with Locks for better fixing. One part of Lock (5_Ge_lock_10H (x33)) you need to print 33 times.
- Made with platform that divided on 4 parts;

DLP/SLA/SLS version features:
- Same as FDM but smaller and made as 3 parts - one-piece Heisei and Godzilla with the platform separated.

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CuraSimplify3D or Slic3r Software.

There are 47 parts for FFF/FDM 1.111 parts for FFF/FDM 1.0 version and 1 part for DLP/SLA/SLS version.

Scale: His tall in life is 90000 mm. Model made as 1/250 scale in FDM version and 1/500 in DLP/SLA/SLS version.

FFF/FDM version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 382 mm tall, 330 mm wide, 453 mm deep;

DLP/SLA/SLS version dimensions:
After being printed will stand - 191 mm tall, 165 mm wide, 226 mm deep;
- Has only 1 detail, to keep printing costs down.

Important

To avoid printing issues and achieve the best quality, we highly recommend applying the following settings:

Generic

Below you can find printing recommendations for CuraSimplify3D and Slic3r software.

Cura printing recommendations:

These are basic settings that were tested in Cura 4.8.0 slicer. 

The test models were printed on Ultimaker 2, Creality Ender 3, Creality CR-10S Pro V2, Anycubic I3 Mega, Anycubic I3 MegaS 3D printers with PLA and PETG filaments.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use and especially the particular assembly part at hand. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

Note:
- You can scale up the model (downscaling is not recommended!);
- All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill;
- For all parts of locks (“ge_lock” in “Source files”) you need to change "Brim" type to "Skirt" in Build Plate Adhesionsection.
