3D model history
Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organisms, or MUTOs, are ancient parasitic Titans that confronted the King of the Monsters in the 2014 movie instalment. Despite their ultimate defeat, the creatures made a lasting impression on the kaiju fanbase and encouraged them to explore the way MUTOs would withstand fights against other vicious enemies. So here's an opportunity for you to make any scenario come true - by 3D printing the MUTO 3D model.
Our contributing 3D artist created the MUTO 3D printing design inspired by the female monster in particular. MUTO stands tall on two pairs of bulky forelimbs, and the smaller pair protruding from her abdomen adds to the menace by twisting like sickles. The body further extends into the sharp head with visor-like eyes and sturdy jaws that resemble a hooked beak. Incredible monster design to add up to your kaiju display!
3D printing model features
Model-specific features:
- The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the menacing kaiju to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose;
- To conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of MUTO's body parts;
- The monster's head, body, and limbs are provided as separate assembly parts.
Printing & assembly details:
- Provided as error-free STL files compatible with most 3D printers;
- Optimized part division minimizes support material and ensures smooth surface detail;
- The assembly parts in the FFF/FDM version come in the recommended print orientations for easy bed placement;
- Assembly manual in PDF and video formats is included for both FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA versions;
- The model is available in recommended scales of 1:250 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:500 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions, based on approximate height of MUTO.
What will you get after purchase?
- 4 versions of MUTO STL files for FFF/FDM, DLP/SLA, DLP/SLA Eco, SLS — files for all versions are available for download after the purchase;
- STL files of high-poly MUTO model for 3D printing consist of 61 files;
- Sizes for:
- FFF/FDM: 325 mm wide, 412 mm high, 412 mm deep;
- DLP/SLA/SLS: 164 mm wide, 206 mm high, 206 mm deep;
- Assembly Manual for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF and video formats;
- Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Bambu Studio, Cura, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer, Simplify3D, and Slic3r for the best print;
- Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team.
