In an alternative “Flashpoint” timeline, Thomas and Martha Wayne survive but witness their son Bruce being murdered by a mugger instead. In this continuity, Thomas Wayne becomes The Dark Knight and fights against the evil sparing no criminal on his way. The author of the Thomas Wayne figurine for 3D printing spent circa 190 hours in order for the ruthless version of Batman to be portrayed in all its glory. The 3D printing knight of vengeance is depicted standing on a fragment of a building that is adorned with the head of a large bat-like gargoyle. The scene most likely takes place somewhere in the middle of the crime-ridden Gotham City so it is no surprise that the figurine is wielding two bulky guns, pointed at different directions. The 3D artist made sure to include all the trademark peculiarities that differ the Batsuit of the Flashpoint timeline from the rest of the variations. Thus, the shoulder protrusions of Thomas Wayne’s suit are rather large and spiky, while the ears are short and neat. It must be pretty windy in Gotham City since Batman’s heavy cape won’t hang still - it flutters behind the vigilante’s back, revealing the intricate “fabric” of the 3D printing cloak. Wayne’s Utility Belt is equipped with twelve pouches that are for sure filled with every needed emergency tool in fighting crime. There are also two large holsters on Batman’s legs that are fixed with the help of several highly-detailed sets of belts. Thomas Wayne in Batman mantle undoubtedly looks very intimidating and powerful which clearly justifies his reputation of a far more violent Caped Crusader. Batman of the alternative Flashpoint timeline would look majestic among your 3D printed DC collection!


Batman Thomas Wayne figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 48 hours in total. Figurine’s anatomy was thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Batman from the Flashpoint timeline to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the figurine’s Eco version. For you to receive the cleanest result possible, Batman’s cape was completely “taken off” the figurine and is to be printed and assembled separately. Also, the 12 pouches attached to the Batman’s Utility Belt, cape clasps, and both leg holsters have been separated as well. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, the figurine was cut along the contour of its suit seams, the boots were “taken off” and the head separated along the suit’s neckline. All the assembly parts come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any figurine's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Thomas Wayne's actual height that is 1880 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.


FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:

- A printed model is 290 mm tall, 312 mm wide, 160 mm deep;
- Assembly kit includes lock 32_ge_lock_10H(x3) to attach the model's parts securely without glue that needs to be printed 3 times;

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 9 parts;
- A printed model is 145 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 80 mm deep;
- Stands on a fragment of a column adorned with bat-like gargoyle;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 9 parts;
- A printed model is 145 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 80 mm deep;
- Stands on a fragment of a column adorned with bat-like gargoyle;
- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.

SLS 1.0 version features:
- Made as a solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 145 mm tall, 156 mm wide, 80 mm deep;
