3D model history
A talented Force-sensitive boy Anakin Skywalker was a slave on the desert planet of Tatooine along with his mother Shmi. One day, during his shift in Watto’s junk shop, Anakin befriended the Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn and a young Padmé Amidala. The travellers were in desperate need of spare parts to repair their starship, so Anakin decided to save his new friends by entering and eventually winning the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace.
Our contributing 3D artist was inspired by the idea to depict the young Skywalker at the very beginning of his Jedi journey and prepared two variants of the model for you to recreate different scenes from The Phantom Menaceinstalment of the franchise. There is a little Anakin who is portrayed holding Darth Vader’s helmet as if foreshadowing the boy’s future on the Dark Side of the Force. Another variant of the Skywalker model suggests that you finally get a pilot for your speedy Podracer - it takes a really skilled master to win the life-changing race!
