3D model description
This charming elephant figurine holds a bright heart and includes a hanging loop — perfect as a pendant, ornament, keychain, or desktop mini. The model is sculpted with carved swirls and surface detail to give it a hand-painted/wood-carved look. Designed to print well on both FDM and resin printers.
3D printing settings
Print settings — FDM (PrusaSlicer / Cura recommended)
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (0.12 for best detail)
Perimeters / Walls: 2–3
Top / bottom layers: 6–8
Infill: 10–20% (gyroid or cubic)
Print orientation: Upright (base on build plate), loop at top.
Supports: Minimal — enable supports for the underside of the trunk and inside the deep ear cavities if your slicer flags them. A brim or raft recommended for small sizes to improve adhesion.
Adhesion: Brim for small prints; Raft optional for curved bases.
Estimated print time: ~8–12 hours at 120 mm tall (depends on layer height & printer speed).
Estimated filament usage: ~80–140 g PLA (approximate).
FDM slicing tips
If printing as a pendant, lowering infill and using a brim reduces stringing.
For maximum detail in the swirls, use 0.12 mm layers.
If ears overhang heavily in your scaled variant, rotate model slightly (5–15°) to reduce support contact on textured surfaces.
