HISTORY OF EMMETT BROWN

Doctor Emmett may seem a crazy man, but he is just a great scientist and as he is so keen on invention - there is no time to look around! His early life is a full-blown mystery, the only information is versions of his alternate reality. Doc has been attracted by adventures and discoveries since he was a child. In 1932, for instance, being inspired by the novel "Journey to the Center of the Earth", Doc decided to dig a tunnel but nothing came of it. His knowledge in nuclear physics he picks up while working on the Manhattan Project, and also in the University of California and Berkeley. The main invention of Doctor Emmett is DeLorean or the Engine of Time. Doc has no friends except Marty and Jennifer. Marty and Doc met  in 1955 when Marty  appeared on the threshold of Doc`s house and said that he is from the future. But Doc hides this fact from Marty in order not to break the course of history. The most important thing that the time machine gave to Doc is his wife Clara, whom he met in the Wild West and his children Jules and Verne. And as long as DeLorean or the Engine of Time may fall into the wrong hands, many more adventures await Doctor Emmett and his friends!

ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

This figure is the first part of diorama "Back to the Future". The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 23 parts;
- Assembly kit includes locks. One part of  Lock (9_Ge_lock_10H_(x22)) needs to be printed 22 times. One part of Lock (10_Ge_lock_7S_(x4)) needs to be printed 4 times
- Made with a time machine controller;
- Made with a special platform styled as a launch area of DeLorean;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but smaller, also made as 8 parts;

DLP/SLA Eco version features:
- Same as the DLP/SLA version, but contains parts hollowed out to save resin;

SLS version features:
- Same as SLA but made as 2 parts to save your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.5.1Simplify3D or Slic3r Software.

There are 23 parts for FFF/FDM version, 8 parts for DLP/SLA and for DLP/SLA Eco versions, 2 parts for SLS.

Scale: Dr. Emmett Brown actual height is 1850 mm. The model’s chosen scale is 1/8 for the FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS version.

FFF/FDM version dimensions:
A printed model is 260 mm tall, 328 mm wide, 299 mm deep - with platform
233 mm tall, 85 mm wide, 137 mm deep - without platform

DLP/SLA/SLS version dimensions:
A printed model is 130 mm tall, 164 mm wide, 150 mm deep - with platform
117 mm tall, 43 mm wide, 67 mm deep - without platform
- Has few details, to keep printing costs down.
