ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

The reputed bounty hunter and the titular character of the well-loved TV series within the Star Wars franchise Din Djarin, also known as “The Mandalorian” or “Mando” for short, is one of the most popular and recognizable characters nowadays. The adventures of the Mandalorian who travels across the galaxy on his Razor Crest starship accompanying and protecting the Force-sensitive Child caught the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world. The touching father-son relationship of the characters made our hearts melt many times.

The author of the incredible diorama of The Mandalorian and Grogu for 3D printing put a lot of time and effort into the stunning project. The scene depicts the bounty hunter in a very tense posture: his left hand is holding the Darksaber while the IB-94 blaster in the right hand is pointed straight at the enemy of Din Djarin. The clothing of the hero is covered with armor made from beskar and includes a helmet, plated vest, pauldrons, vambraces, gauntlets, boots, and a cape with a jetpack. Tiny Grogu is shown in his hovering pram, the body of the Child is covered with a big hood, and big eyes express curiosity. Truly authentic and harmonious, this project will bring you an unforgettable experience when printing and assembling. Don't wait and start exploring and printing the files today!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

The Mandalorian and Grogu figurines for 3D printing is a static assembly diorama and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 68 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the characters to be depicted harmoniously in the intended poses.

The figurines’ cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurines are connected, the diorama was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to The Mandalorian and Grogu.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurines’ scale was calculated from the height of The Mandalorian. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
