Understand I'm not _that_ old (at least in my own mind), but when I was a kid, I was a big model builder. Had all sorts of SciFi models like the Flying Sub, Spindrift, Orion, Enterprise Bridge, Moonbase Alpha, and more. So now I get to be an adult re-living my childhood! The original scale was too big for my room, so I scaled it to 60%. And I must say, the details remained very visible. I used my Snapmaker U1 to colorize the print (used my Bambu P1S for the solid colors) – not a single dab of paint was used. Looks freaking awesome.
This was a great build from start to finish with clear instruction notes, there was a few parts that had to be printed at different orientations to get the best results but overall a very detailed model. I have printed 2 time machines now and would recommend this model to anyone who is into classic sci fi.
I wait so long and untill now artist of the model not dissappoint me and help make some a little detail to accurate this Enterprise-E i said something bad or not good word and you will feel bad and not good. I am sorry Thank you for spending time and energy with this update 2.0 Thank you... :)
Model wart każdego centa i każdego grama filamentu.
Noah is a class act and a pleasure to build his creations. The models are the best I’ve come Across for any Tron related model. His passion comes through his designs and the models are very well thought out. MUST BUY’S if your a fan of Tron or any futuristic vehicle design.
I spent agonising hours printing paul as a distraction for my family - my name is paul and they associate me with the alien because i love marmite. It took ages on a couple of ender 3s. Painted it outside, 20 minutes someone stole it - that is how good this print is. Excellent file and setup, easy to print, harder to stick together on the head LOL. I am going to print it again but this time mod the file for magnet fitting of the head pieces making the process easier. If you want a life size paul then have at it, fun and always a pleaser, there are no faults with this model at all which I love.
Honestly what drew me to this model the most was the stand that comes with the elite add-on. Admittedly this was not a favorite TIE model in general, but as i built it it rapidly became one of my favorite ships! I'm working on an elite version and will post pix once those are done. all in all a great experience; well done!
Printed this first version and was completely satisfied. Month later returned to download, so as I could improve my first attempt. Surprise! The model had been improved and it's amazing. I love this model. Many thanks!
As with all the other models I’ve gotten from Gambody, these files printed perfectly. I’d been wanting an F14 model since I started printing a year ago. You guys should do more ships from Star Gate series like the BC-304 Daedalus and Prometheus.
Quick little build, easy to put together, good separation for painting - though I kind of wish, since it seems mostly duplicated across the holidays, there'd be one "grogu holiday pack."
Just thumbing through the files. Good lord. Extremely high poly with quality surfaces. Im pretty sure i could upscale these and print out very close to a 1:350 scale. Please jesus pay this guy to do an s rank enterprise E model.
Very good STL model for print. It was a fun to make it and paint. Finished model is a great add on to my home cinema room and Alien's movies collection.
Amazing model. Not 100% screen accurate but very close. Printed nicely with resin and the pieces went together smoothly. I made him about 35cm tall. I didn't print the base as I wanted him to be free standing. Keep up the good work.
Please say a big 'Thank You' to Paul Walther the designer of the NX-01 Enterprise! The number of cables increases while adding Leds. The colors match the color of the led. Most of them are WS2812B leds. On this pic I used WAGO connectors and 0.14mm² cables. In the WAGOs are 30 cables atm. The outlet slot to the nacelle could be 5mm longer to make wiring easyer. Bernd
While still waiting for resin stock to print this I was very impressed with the detail of the model and have since purchased the Hyper jump ring to go with it.
Given this is one of my favourite starships, I absolutely had to make it! I spent a looooong time (far longer than I'd like to admit) in Orca recolouring everything so this could be printed in full multi colour on the Snapmaker U1 :) This takes 105 hours in full colour with a tool changer, I would not recommend printing in colour on a none tool changing printer, but well worth putting the time in, as it took less time than masking and painting would have to get this just perfect :) I've added photo's of the build to feedback so you can see for yourself how well this build works :) ... Couldn't be happier with this!
Now with this new version of GamBody, I am finally able to leave a comment for this great model by Paul. It's been almost three years since I bought the first edition of Paul, and in the meantime I've been able to easily download two new updates for the model free of charge – the lifetime support is fantastic! The many parts are printed on three different printers – at that time, an Artillery Genius, a Viper, and a JGAURORA. The assembly took me over a year, as I constantly had to figure out how to achieve sufficient stability for Paul. The thin legs, the large head... He was supposed to be detachable, in three sections – head, torso, and legs. After many hours of filling and painting, he actually stood up on his little legs by himself. A fantastic experience.
Printed most of the model (at 200 odd pieces, I may have missed a few bits lol). Roughly put together, it looks amazing, not to mention much bugger than I imagined. I'm also currently programming up an Arduino mega for lighting, which is working out well, but not perfect due to limitations of both my knowledge , and limitations of the Arduino programming. The only thing I see that is missing is the fact that the instructions could be a little clearer as to if pieces should be glued together or not, obviously user choice works too though :). Pictures will come at some point when its completed, but its slow going due to the fact that I'm using a battery operated air brush, and only get about 20 mins at a time to paint it.
I was a bit leery about printing something like this. But after the front body and cockpit was printed I knew it will be good looking. Here it is in pre-paint. Not sure of the colour scheme, yet.
