ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

NieR: Automata 2B or 2B who is the main protagonist of the 2017 video game Nier: Automata. YoRHa is a military android force that is designed to fight alien machine forms that invaded Earth during the 14th Machine War. 2B is a unit of the automated YoRHa infantry, equipped with all-purpose weapons and is always accompanied by a floating robot POD 042 that serves for range attacks. NieR: Automata 2B’s support officer assigns her to follow and kill one of the new scanner-type androids 9S during the force’s operations against the planet’s invaders. Despite androids’ built-in restraint who barely show their emotions, 2B grows used to her designated partner and the execution of her initial task brings the Type B android a lot of pain.

Inspired by the determined character of a female soldier from Nier: Automata, our 3D artists created this impressive figurine for 3D printing. The android has a distinctive short bob cut, the eyes of the heroine can be hidden under the blindfold. YoRHa 2B wears a turtleneck dress which allows her to perform a wide range of moves; the dress can be transformed into a bodysuit. In the left hand, the combat android is holding her signature blade, the Virtuous Contract. High boots with lacing equipped with heels harmoniously complement the image of the heroine. Dive into memories of your favorite game printing highly-detailed and undeniably beautiful YoRHa No.2 Type B!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

NieR: Automata 2B for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 62 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the android to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, 2B was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to NieR: Automata 2B.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of 2B which is 1680 mm. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
