Lara Croft 3D model for printing from Gambody contributing 3D artist is a personalized version of Lara Croft video games character: this design is an embodiment of an adventurous and beautiful female archaeologist in the form of STL files and is created by a fan of the Tomb Raider video game series. 3D printable Lara Croft is distinguished by its skillfully sculpted face with correct proportions, right features, and recognizable ponytail hairstyle. The athletic body of the adventurer is clothed in a crop top, shorts, boots, and ammunition inspired by Tomb Raider: Underworld, its build and accessories are thought out to the smallest detail. ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
Lara Croft Underworld for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 64 hours in total. The 3D print's anatomy, proportions, and flow of the cloth were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the female character to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.
The cutting of the 3D printing design was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the 3D printable model are connected, Lara Croft was divided into convenient assembly parts.
All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to the Lara Croft 3D model.
The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The scale of the 3D print model was calculated from the height of the actress who played Lara Croft. The 3D printer design’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.

- A printed model is 125 mm tall, 78 mm wide, 66 mm deep;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.
DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version’s features:
- Contains 14 parts;
- A printed model is 125 mm tall, 78 mm wide, 66 mm deep;
- Some parts are manually hollowed out to save resin.
SLS 1.0 version’s features:
- Contains 3 parts — 3D printer files of solid Lara Croft and platform merged and separated.
