Description

ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Lethal Weapon can rightfully be considered the most successful action movie of 1980-1990, where the plot revolves around a pair of LAPD detectives, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, who have pretty conflicting personalities. Martin Riggs, played by Mel Gibson, is an audacious and suicidal character, who nevertheless stands out for his charisma and manages to form a bond with his grumpy partner.

The 3D model of Martin from Lethal Weapon from Gambody contributor is a design that simply amazes with the similarities with the film actor, you can easily recognize the 80s hairstyle of Riggs, his body build and facial features are made with great precision featuring such details as muscled arms, wrinkles on the forehead, or unruly brows, among others. Martin Riggs Beretta is a highlight of this design for 3D printing as it is accurately modeled and plays a key role in the posture chosen by the author. Hurry to add the iconic thriller character model to your collection of 3D printables!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Martin Riggs for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 63 hours in total. The 3D print's anatomy, proportions, and flow of the cloth were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the character to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The cutting of the 3D printing design was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the 3D printable model are connected, the police officer 3D model was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the 1.0 FFF/FDM version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1.0 FFF/FDM and 1.0 DLP/SLA versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Martin Riggs.

The design is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The scale of the 3D print model was calculated from the height of Martin Riggs. The 3D printer design’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
