3D model history
Few droids in the Star Wars universe ever broke free from their programming. Even fewer did so with the dry wit and firepower of K-2SO. Reprogrammed from a cold Imperial enforcer into a fiercely loyal rebel companion, this towering security droid became an unlikely hero in the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. With his blunt honesty, tactical brilliance, and sacrificial resolve, K-2SO stood out among the Star Wars cast, not just as comic relief, but as the mechanical soul of the mission that changed the galaxy's fate.
This 3D printed droid captures K-2SO's massive silhouette and complex mechanics with stunning precision. From articulated limbs and pivoting fingers to an LED-ready back, head, and eyes, this model is built for an epic display. Whether you prefer a clean platform or one themed for the Andor, Imperial, or Republic forces, the K-2SO Rogue One STL delivers a customizable showcase worthy of your sci-fi shelf. It's an essential addition to any collection of Star Wars 3D models and the perfect companion piece to the K-2SO Bust 3D print.

We've checked the files, and everything looks correct—we haven't had prior reports of these specific threading issues. Looking at your filament-printed parts, it appears there may be some surface inconsistencies caused by layer lines that are preventing the threads from engaging. We strongly recommend lightly sanding both threaded areas to smooth out any bumps or irregularities—this often resolves binding issues right away.
If that doesn't solve it, please let us know two things:
– Did you print the model at the recommended scale?
– Did you use our recommended slicer settings (found under the "Printing Details" tab: https://www.gambody.com/premium/star-wars-rogue-one-droid-k-2so#printing-details)?
To help us provide more tailored assistance, please email us a few high-resolution photos of the threads, along with your printer model, filament type, and print settings, to support@gambody.com. We'll use those details to provide more tailored assistance!
