3D model history

Few droids in the Star Wars universe ever broke free from their programming. Even fewer did so with the dry wit and firepower of K-2SO. Reprogrammed from a cold Imperial enforcer into a fiercely loyal rebel companion, this towering security droid became an unlikely hero in the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We've checked the files, and everything looks correct—we haven't had prior reports of these specific threading issues. Looking at your filament-printed parts, it appears there may be some surface inconsistencies caused by layer lines that are preventing the threads from engaging. We strongly recommend lightly sanding both threaded areas to smooth out any bumps or irregularities—this often resolves binding issues right away.

Generic

Below you can find printing recommendations for Bambu Studio, Cura, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer, Simplify3D, and Slic3r software.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use, and especially the particular assembly part you are working with. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review, and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

You can scale up the model (downscaling for FFF/FDM 3D printers is not recommended!);
