Description

ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Wolverine is a powerful mutant who is known to be the best there is at what he does, but what he does best isn't very nice. James Howlett possesses an Adamantium skeleton, regenerative healing factor and superhuman strength. All these supernatural powers plus incredible fighting skills totally justify Wolverine’s status as one of the mightiest X-men representatives. At the same time, Logan has one of the darkest paths of any superhero and is considered by many to be a perfect example of a great comic book antihero. In an attempt to tame the seemingly invincible member of the mutant team, the author of this model for 3d printing spent 78 hours working on the bust version of the hero. Logan is depicted in the mutant’s canonic suit, wearing the mask with remarkable long ears. We can’t see the mutant’s hands but can assume with certainty that his Adamantium metal claws are ready for the battle. The 3D artist definitely did a perfect job working on the Wolverine’s impressive physique - the bust version alone perfectly conveys the ferocity of one of the strongest fighters in the universe. We say that you shouldn’t wait any longer - the fuming Wolverine bust is ready to replenish your 3D printed collection at once.

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Wolverine Bust for 3D printing is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 17 hours in total. The accent of the moderation process was made on the figurine’s anatomy review. Both fundamental and advanced body and face proportions rules were taken into account for Wolverine Bust to be depicted harmoniously in the intended angry state. The model’s cutting in its assembly version was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the bust’s Eco version. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result possible, mutant's shoulder pads, as well as the bust's platform, were separated. All the assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Wolverine's actual height that is 1600 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
