- Watertight: Yes (closed solid)
- Manifold: Yes (no non-manifold edges)
- Connected components: Single connected mesh (one printable piece)
- Normals: Consistent outward normals
Print preparation checklist (must)
- Verify watertightness (no holes).
- Check for non-manifold edges and remove loose/dangling triangles.
- Apply transforms and export with applied scale = mm.
- Ensure minimum feature thickness meets your printer’s limits (see below).
- Add mounting holes to the backplate if you want predrilled screw holes (not included unless specified).
Recommended printing settings
Best choice
- Resin (SLA/DLP/LCD) — recommended for best fidelity of the ornamental details.
- Layer height: 25–50 µm
- Support style: tree supports, small touchpoints; avoid supports on primary decorative faces.
- Orientation: tilt slightly (~10–25°) so the most detailed frontal area avoids heavy supports; place hook arm pointing down to preserve shape.
FDM (if needed)
- Nozzle: 0.25–0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.10–0.15 mm
- Shells/perimeters: 2–4
- Infill: 10–25 %
- Use a brim/raft and supports under overhangs (hook tip, underside of jaw/neck). Expect some loss of micro detail.
