Aerith Gainsborough, often referred to as the Flower Girl, is a charming and street-smart flower merchant who knows much more about the world than we could ever imagine. Despite looking like a normal human girl, Aerith is the very last descendant of the Cetra, the deeply spiritual ancient race with a unique magical ability to interact with the lifestream and the planet itself. No matter the mysterious ancestry and overwhelmingly powerful abilities, Aerith nurtures in her heart resolve and bravery that are just as strong. Her cocky and flirtatious appeal harmoniously couples with a profound spirit of adventure and longing for freedom, thus embodying the heroine so many Final Fantasy fans warmly adore. The same feeling of fondness encouraged our contributing 3D artist to carefully sculpt the Aerith Gainsborough 3D Printing Figurine and capture every little detail that he so admired. The remarkable resemblance will strike you right away - Aerith’s face is lit up with cheer and a gentle smile. Her wavy hair falls down her cheeks in segmented bangs and is plaited in the back with a large ribbon. Aerith for 3D printing is depicted in her classic shin-length pink button dress and the biker-like bolero jacket decorated with zipper pockets and a belt at the bottom. The attire is complemented with a trio of bracelets and a flower necklace as well as a pair of short boots. In the crook of Aerith’s elbow, a basket full of flowers rests and entrances with the ethereal scent. Whether the heroine is indulging in her passion for nature or taking a short break before a new thrilling adventure, she will gladly accompany you on whatever quest you pursue!


Aerith Gainsborough figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 49 hours in total. During the moderation process, the figurine’s anatomy was thoroughly reviewed for the heroine to be depicted harmoniously in the intended relaxed, mid-step pose. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the figurine’s Eco version. For you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result, Aerith’s head, hands, boots, basket, flowers, etc. are provided as separate assembly pieces. For the same purpose, Aerith’s front bangs and long braid were cut off and divided into four separate parts. In order to conceal the seams where the assembly parts of the model connect, the figurine was cut along the outline of Aerith's outfit. All the assembly parts come in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any figurine's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for 1:4 by Author, FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the actual height of Aerith Gainsborough which is 1630 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions and 1:4 for the Author's version.


1:4 by Author version features:
- The original version of the figurine provided by the author of the model;
- Some finer elements such as flowers, accessories, etc. may be properly printed on a DLP/SLA 3D printer only;
- Contains 36 parts;
- The version comes in 1:4 scale
- A printed model is 420 mm tall, 198 mm wide, 198 mm deep.

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 25 parts;
- A printed model is 220 mm tall, 99 mm wide, 99 mm deep;
- The assembly kit includes lock 25_ge_lock_7S(x2) to attach the model's body to legs securely without glue that needs to be printed twice;
- Comes with a stand with an embossed Final Fantasy VII Remake logo;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 11 parts;
- A printed model is 110 mm tall, 50 mm wide, 50 mm deep;
- Comes with a stand with an embossed Final Fantasy VII Remake logo;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 11 parts;
- A printed model is 110 mm tall, 50 mm wide, 50 mm deep;
- Comes with a stand with an embossed Final Fantasy VII Remake logo;
- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.

DLP/SLA Pre-supported 1.0 version features:
- Contains 11 parts;
- A printed model is 110 mm tall, 50 mm wide, 50 mm deep;
- The STL files that this version comprises are pre-supportedhollowed out, and have drain holes where needed;
- You may choose to print the STL files one by one or several at once, depending on the dimensions of your resin 3D printer's build plate;
- When slicing several STL files at once, the attachment layers (Platform Touch Shape) may overlap, but the supports must not come into contact.

SLS 1.0 version features:
- Made as a solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 110 mm tall, 50 mm wide, 50 mm deep;
- Comes with a stand with an embossed Final Fantasy VII Remake logo;
- Contains 3 parts - a one-piece model and the figurine with the stand separated.

These are basic settings that were tested in Cura 4.8.0 slicer. 

The test models were printed on Ultimaker 2, Creality Ender 3, Creality CR-10S Pro V2, Anycubic I3 Mega, Anycubic I3 MegaS 3D printers with PLA and PETG filaments.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use and especially the particular assembly part at hand. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.
