Printing Details

This 3D model consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 1, Version 2 and Version 2.1 are the files for Valkyrie Helicopter 3D Model optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • to print Version 1 - low resolution STL files;
  • to print Version 2 - high resolution STL files.
  • to print Version 2.1 - fixation has been improved;

This attack craft, from the hugely popular video game, is used in dangerous missions and quests. It is known for its vertical take off and landing capabilities.

Equipped with deadly weaponry, such as multi-lasers and missiles, the assault carrier is great support for troopers when being dropped off on the battlefield, firing cover shots to protect the soldiers from enemy’s attacks.This agile craft has powerful armor and it can also be enhanced with additional chaff launchers, infrared systems and ejector seats.

Like Chaplain 3D designValkyrie 3D printing model comes in assembly mode. It is 237 mm depth, 189 mm wide and 73 mm tall. Also, one exciting thing is that you can paint your Valkyrie craft in any color you want. See our TAU XV109 Y'Vahra 3D model if you want more figures from these game series.

The model has been tested by our designers and is error free. The downloadable assembly kit is zipped in .STL file format, supported by all 3D printers. You can print it both on SLA/SLS printers and FFF printers.

On 16.03.2018 the model files have been optimized. We have added high resolutions STL files for Valkyrie Helicopter 3D Printing Model. They now are already available for purchase and download in Version 2.


Valkyrie Helicopter 3D Model was revived and got a new version for 3D printing. Changes came to all its details. Now it is available in Version 2 with all possible innovations to improve its quality. Here is a list of changes and improvements:

- The main body was separated into several parts for better printing;
- All elements of the model were divided in such a way to print them more accurately and get a nicer model after printing and assembling it;
- Excellent platform with a ball joint, that gives you the opportunity to set your model in any position you like;
- Great docking elements that will allow your model to stand perfectly on the surface without a platform;
- All STL files have been checked and repaired in Netfabb and no errors were shown;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest amount of supports.
- Model fixed by the Locks and Connectors. One part of Lock (26_Ge_lock_7S_x63 (repaired)) you need to print 63 times. One part of Connector (5_GE_Connector_A_A_x4 (repaired)) you need to print 4 times;

New Version 2 contains 31 parts. All parts of Connectors should be printed with 100% infill.

After being printed will stand:
165 mm tall, 241 mm wide, 305 mm deep - with platform;
93 mm tall, 241 mm wide, 305 mm deep - without platform;

On 21.09.2018 the model files get update of fixing parts. 

The model has been improved in general:
1. Now there is a smaller gap between the platform parts, and better fitting assembly improves the platform’s durability.
2. Increased width of the locks helps better fix parts together.
3. The ship’s nose is now closer to the model, with a minimal gap between the nose and connected elements.
4. Bigger side cannons allow better printing of the detailing of the smaller elements.
5. Now divided into two parts, the top gun can be printed with less support that is easier to remove.

The update makes the model’s printing process simpler overall an ensures better fixation for the assembly parts

This model was tested in Cura 3.5.1 and printed on an Ultimaker 2 in PLA material. Below you can find printing recommendations for CuraSimplify3D and Slic3r softwares.
