Description

3D model history

"A large conglomeration of harmless golden statues blocks the path to Tourian. Samus won't be able to get down through this section and into Tourian until all of the major boss characters have been duly eradicated."

The Golden Statues of four major bosses of the Super Metroid action adventure game, Ridley, Draygon, Phantoon and Kraid, guarded the entrance to Tourian, the main headquarters on planet Zebes. Being eminent members of the marauding organization and having affiliation with the Space Pirates, the bosses were markedly important. To get to the underwater entrance of Tourian, Samus has to defeat each boss, and after the latter’s defeat the entire structure will sink to the bottom of the chamber clearing the way for the bounty hunter.

After a long and meticulous work process, the idea of our contributing 3D artist to create the Golden Statues 3D print model became a reality. The author depicted Ridley resting atop the head of Phantoon, while Kraid and Draygon are to Phantoon's sides, referring to the room in Crateria. Each statue’s eyes can be painted in the colours as they are different for each boss. This outstanding, exclusive, grotesque design can be considered a piece of art and will charm everyone who sees it! Be one of the first to print Golden Statues from Super Metroid, the video game regarded as one of the best Famicom games!

To avoid printing issues and achieve the best quality, we highly recommend applying the following settings:

Generic

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use, and especially the particular assembly part you are working with. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review, and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

You can scale up the model (downscaling for FFF/FDM 3D printers is not recommended!);

All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill.

Bambu Lab printing recommendations:

These basic 3D printing settings recommendations for beginners were tested in Bambu Studio 1.9.1. Test models were printed on the Bambu Lab A1, Bambu Lab A1 Mini, Creality Ender 3 S1, Anycubic Kobra 2, and Anycubic Vyper using PLA and PETG filaments.
