The Blade of Evil's Bane! Our version of Link's iconic Master Sword was 3D modeled in-house to be highly detailed, life-sized at 41.5" long, and accurate to what's seen in the games (with a few small artistic liberties taken).
Inspired by the Master Sword seen in BOTW, TOTK, SS, & TP, you'll find our design has elements from each of these game versions, while maintaining accurate proportions and enhancing the details. Once assembled, the sword makes a stunning & rigid prop for cosplay while feeling great in the hand and looking legendary on display!
See our YouTube video for an in-depth assembly guide here:
In this pack, you'll receive 3 zipped folders:
-Link's Master Sword STL pack
-Master Sword Scabbard STL pack
-Wall Mounted Display STL pack
To assemble the sword, you will also need:
-1/2"x36" wooden dowel (x1)
-3/16"x36" wooden dowel (x2)
*If you prefer a metal structural core instead of a wooden dowel, you can use aluminum tube as an alternative. I recommend aluminum over steel to keep the model light. Make sure you use a high-gauge tube so it has thin walls.
The sword & wall mount display are designed to be 3D printed SUPPORT FREE. For similar results to what is shown in the pictures, we used 0.1mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle, 3 wall loops, and 15% infill. Once assembled onto the wooden dowels, the sword is very solid and doesn't flex when held horizontally or swung. The sword can then be finished and painted however you see fit!
*The scabbard will need to be printed with supports. All files are already oriented properly for 3D printing.
**This listing is for digital STL files, so no physical item will be shipped. Due to the nature of digital listings, all sales are final. Delectable Designs is not responsible for any mishaps or failed prints that may occur when 3D printing using our STL files.

To avoid printing issues and achieve the best quality, we highly recommend applying the following settings:
Bambu Studio
I printed my model on a Bambu Labs P1S with a layer height of 0.14mm, 15% infill, and a 3-wall thickness. The Master Sword is a very top-heavy sword, so you may want to do 10% infill and 2-wall thickness on the blade parts in order to move the center of gravity towards the grip a bit more.
You will also need a 1/2"x36" wooden dowel (or steel tube) to serve as the primary core of the blade, along with two (2x) 3/16"x36" wooden dowels. Trimmings from the wooden dowels are used as support for the guard. Please see images or YT video for assembly instructions.
