Dramiel is a legendary pirate ship, the Angel Faction frigate from the EVE online universe. Many PvP players owe their successful careers to this frigate and it is highly appreciated among the video game fans being the fastest frigate available. The ship reaches a speed of 4-5 km per second and is able to cause very serious damage. Only mighty frigates manage to repel its attack and return alive because the ship itself is extremely strong and armour-clad. Although Dramiel’s design is relatively old, it is also among the most commonly used ones. The ship can hit targets both at close and far distances and has a class bonus that increases the damage of light artillery by 100%. Dramiel always adheres to the tactics of keeping its distance, dodges attacks thanks to the high speed and inflicts deadly damage with its powerful weapon. Due to this set of qualities, Dramiel is often considered to be the best in its class.


The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers

FDM version features:
- Contain 29 parts;
- Assembly kit includes locks. One part of  Lock (28_Ge_lock_10H_(x117)) needs to be printed 117 times;
- Made with all class turrets;
- Made with enhanced detalization;
- Made with a stand for the ship;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA version features:
- Same as FDM but smaller, also made as 8 parts;

DLP/SLA Eco version features:
- Same as the DLP/SLA version, but contains parts hollowed out to save resin;

SLS version features:
- Same as SLA but made as 3 parts to save your material;

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.5.1Simplify3D or Slic3r Software.

There are 29 parts for FFF/FDM version, 8 parts for DLP/SLA and for DLP/SLA Eco versions, 3 parts for SLS.

Scale: Dramiel actual height is 108000 mm. The model’s chosen scale is 1/200 for the FDM version and 1/400 for the DLP/SLA and 1/2000 for SLS version.

FFF/FDM version dimensions:
A printed model is 323 mm tall, 394 mm wide, 540 mm deep

DLP/SLA version dimensions:
A printed model is 162 mm tall, 197 mm wide, 270 mm deep
- Has few details, to keep printing costs down.

SLS version dimensions:
A printed model is 122 mm tall, 39 mm wide, 54 mm deep - with platform
33 mm tall, 39 mm wide, 54 mm deep - without platform

This model was tested in Cura 3.5.1 and printed on an Ultimaker 2 in PLA material. Below you can find printing recommendations for CuraSimplify3D and Slic3r softwares.
