Printing Details

This 3D model consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that have been optimized for 3D printing.

Before printing the files, we strongly recommend reading the PRINTING DETAILS section.

Version 2 and Version 3 are the new files for BattleMaster MWO 3D Model optimized for 3D printing, the preview pictures of which you see above.

It is recommended:

  • Version 1 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers - old version with old joints;
  • Version 2 STL files on FDM/FFF 3D printers - new version with new scale and new joints;
  • Version 3 STL files on DLP/SLA/SLS 3D printers - new version with new scale and new joints.

MechWarrior addicts, beware. Another Mech makes its way onto the battlefield – Mech Warrior BattleMaster.

This super heavy assault machine is capable of filling many roles and is one of the most agile Mechs that have ever been produced. Weighing 85 tons, Mech Warrior BattleMaster regular variant is equipped with incredible firepower and armoring, making it a reliable ally vehicle on the battlefield.

Inspired by and stylized according to the popular video game, the Mech Warrior BattleMaster 3D model showcases incredible battle machine features and can compete easily with its in-game prototype. 

Modeled in Autodesk Maya, the 3D model shows fine details, outstanding articulation, making it a poseable 3D action figure. 

Its operability is driven by the hinged joints that are designed into the feet, the torso, and the hands. Your 3D printed Mech Warrior BattleMaster will be capable of showing outstanding battle moves on the improvised battlefield.

The STL files for the 3D printing video game model are checked and corrected in Netfabb and show no errors. The files can be handled both in CURA 15.06 and Simplify3D slicing programs easily.

The MWO BattleMaster 3D model consists of 41 parts and after printing the model will stand 212mm wide, 300mm tall, and 175mm deep.

On 28.11.2016 the model files have been optimized and made solid. They now are adapted to be 3D printed using any slicing program. 3D model files are already available for purchase and download. 


On 30.11.2017 new scale and new version of joints have been added.


Now, the 3D Model of BattleMaster MWO is available in two scale: 1/60 for Version 2 (FDM/FFF) and 1/100 for Version 3 (DLP/SLA/SLS).

There are 29 parts in Version 2 (FDM/FFF) and 14 parts for Version 3 (DLP/SLA/SLS).

Version 2 (FDM/FFF):
- Is 1:60 scale and after being printed will stand 292 mm tall, 206 mm wide, 157 mm deep;
- Made with new joints;
- All movable elements of the BattleMaster Mech were saved.

Version 3 (DLP/SLA/SLS):
- Is 1:100 scale and will stand 175 mm tall, 124 mm wide, 94 mm deep;
- Made with new joints;
- All movable elements of the BattleMaster Mech were saved;
- Has as few details as possible to keep printing costs down.

With new joints from Version 2 and Version 3 you will get next advantages:
1. Increases frictional force;
2. Possible to up scale or down scale the whole model;
3. Printable from any type of material;
4. Higher strength;
5. Material shrinkage does not affect at strength and friction.

This model was tested in Cura 3.0.4. and print on an Ultimaker 2 in PLA material.


- You can print new joints from Version 2 and Version 3 with 20-30% infill. 
- With the new joints from Version 2 and Version 3 you can up scale or down scale the whole model.

- Connector should be printed at 100% infill.
