Mystique is a regular cunning antagonist of the X-Men comics universe, a recurring mutant adversary of the Marvel superhero team. While Raven Darkhölme possesses the strength of a normal non-mutant woman, her powers of shapeshifting make Mystique one of the most deceptive and dangerous opponents to deal with. Not only is she able to assume the appearance of any human she wants, but Mystique can change the cells in her body to imitate any kind of clothing and accessory, the vocal cords and even fingers and skin-pore patterns at will! And although in the X-Men movie universe Mystique somehow turned into a hero, the comics-inspired 3D printing figurine portrays the iconic appearance of the crafty schemer Raven Darkhölme. It took the author of the model 120 hours to create the mutant 3D printing model confidently sitting on a stone-like throne wielding weapons in both hands. Mystique is depicted wearing a form-fitting long dress slit all the way to her hips that is adorned with a signature skull belt and also has a recognisable small skull on her forehead. No matter who the agile mutant sides with, Mystique has always been known for having self-serving ulterior motives and being a master of plotting usually easily finds ways to get what she wants. We are sure that all the die-hard fans of the X-Men comic books universe will definitely estimate the true worth of the iconic anti-heroine 3D printing figurine and will gladly obtain the model to enlarge one’s X-Men figurines collection! 


Mystique figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 33 hours in total. The figurine’s anatomy was thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for Mystique to be depicted harmoniously in the intended sitting pose. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin. Moreover, in order to conceal the places where assembly parts of the model must be connected, the figurine was cut along the contour of Mystique clothes’ seams. The figurine's platform that resembles the hand-like stone throne was divided into 8 separate parts to fit even the smallest 3D printers’ build plates. There are three different weapon variants of the model’s right hand available for you to choose either gun, assault rifle or Wolverine’s claws to assemble Mystique with. Each hand, as well as the assault rifle, are provided as separate parts for you to achieve the cleanest result possible. All the assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. 

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Mystique's actual height that is 1780 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.


FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 26 parts;
- A printed model is 235 mm tall, 186 mm wide, 169 mm deep;
- Assembly kit includes locks to connect parts securely without glue. One lock 25_ge_lock_10H(x25) needs to be printed 25 times and another one 26_ge_lock_7S(x1)​ needs to be printed once;
- Three variants of the right hand are available, each holding a different weapon;
- Made with a platform to resemble a hand-like stone throne;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 9 parts;
- A printed model is 118 mm tall, 93 mm wide, 89 mm deep;
- Three variants of the right hand are available, each holding a different weapon;
- Made with a platform to resemble a hand-like stone throne;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 9 parts;
- A printed model is 118 mm tall, 93 mm wide, 89 mm deep;
- Three variants of the right hand are available, each holding a different weapon;
- Made with a platform to resemble a hand-like stone throne;
- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.

SLS 1.0 version features:
- Made as a solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 118 mm tall, 93 mm wide, 89 mm deep;
- Contains 4 parts - three variants of a one-piece model wielding a different weapon and a platform separated.
