Tapion is a true hero who fights the evil and protects the people in the course of Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon Japanese anime. This character was developed by famous artist Akira Toriyama and is known to carry out a painful duty - his body guards a half of evil Hirudegarn. The author of the Tapion model went all out when working on the design of the legendary hero for 3D printing! The figurine is depicted taking into account all fine elements usually associated with the character. For example, Tapion is portrayed with his huge mohawk, an unusual band on the sides of his head and the Brave Sword on his back. The hero is holding in hands what seems to be Tapion’s enchanted ocarina or the Hero's Flute that in combination with the sword is capable of being a powerful weapon. It has taken the 3D artist 185 hours in total for you to have not only a highly-detailed Konatsian figurine but also a variety of platforms to choose from. In addition to a simple base, there is also a beautiful scene of Tapion soaring in the middle of a large water splash surrounded by smaller waves - a scene that truly conveys the power of the hero! Moreover, once printed you can mount your Tapion on top of the head of defeated Hirudegarn hence recreating a scene of the battle between sworn enemies. Tapion figurine for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 48 hours in total. The figurine’s anatomy was thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the Hero to be depicted harmoniously in the intended soaring pose. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the model’s Eco version. Moreover, in order to conceal places where assembly parts of the figurine must be connected, the model was cut along the contour of Tapion clothes’ seams. The figurine's platforms in its assembly version were divided into many separate parts to fit even the smallest 3D printers’ build plates. Besides, in order for you to receive the cleanest 3D printed result, such smaller parts as Tapion’s Brave Sword, ocarina, hair strands etc. are also available as separate assembly pieces. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. 

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Tapion's actual height that is 1830 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.


FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 38 parts;
- A printed model is 340 mm tall, 468 mm wide, 334 mm deep;
- Assembly kit includes locks to connect parts without glue. One lock 37_ge_lock_7S(x3) needs to be printed 3 times; lock​ 38_ge_lock_10H(x34)​ needs to be printed 34 times;
- Figurine comes with three alternative platforms - a simple base, a powerful splash of water and the defeated Hirudegarn's head;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 16 parts;
- A printed model is 170 mm tall, 234 mm wide, 167 mm deep;
- Figurine comes with three alternative platforms - a simple base, a powerful splash of water and the defeated Hirudegarn's head;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 16 parts;
- A printed model is 170 mm tall, 234 mm wide, 167 mm deep;
- Figurine comes with three alternative platforms - a simple base, a powerful splash of water and the defeated Hirudegarn's head;
- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.

SLS 1.0 version features::
- Made as a solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 170 mm tall, 234 mm wide, 167 mm deep;
- Contains 7 parts - three one-piece models with each platform variant and a solid Tapion figurine with all platforms separated.
