ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

Jack Skellington is an optimistic living skeleton, the patron spirit of Halloween and the thrill-seeking protagonist of The Nightmare Before Christmas franchise. The well-loved hero of the Halloween Town gets tired with celebrating “the same old thing year after year" and decides to substitute for Santa Claus during the delightful Christmas season. The unbridled enthusiasm and charisma of Mr. Unlucky make the story by brilliant Tim Burton a holiday classic and we are super excited to welcome the Jack Skellington on the marketplace! The 3D printing Jack Skellington Bust has taken full advantage of the detach-ability of The Pumpkin King as it has an optional fragment of Jack’s bony arm! Thus, you may display the smiley bust alone or with the arm fragment attached to its chin that makes Jack’s Skellington’s expression slightly amused. Who knows, maybe the curious Bone Man was captured while finding out yet another fascinating fact about Christmas festivities! The round skull of 3D printing Jack Skellington is adorned with a cross-stitch mouth that stores a set of widely spaced teeth. The author of the bust made sure to pay careful attention to the unique peculiarity of the character that is the ghoulish eyes of the Master of Fright. The pair of Jack’s empty eye sockets looks exceptionally spooky and despite being empty his eyes do an excellent job conveying the feelings and emotions of the King of Halloween. As usual, Jack Skellington sports its trademark striped suit and a pretty large bow tie that is made to resemble the head and wings of a bat. The bust of the undead gentleman for 3D printing seems to be mounted on a fragment of a dilapidated column that looks like a perfect thematic decoration. The 3D artist behind the marvelous Jack Skellington 3D printing bust spent circa 75 hours in order to present the most important of many Halloween spirits just in time for the spooky 3D printing season!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Jack Skellington Bust for 3D printing is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 18 hours in total. The accent of the moderation process was made on the review and enhancement of the figurine’s details, textures, and forms. The model’s cutting in its assembly version was chosen by our team in order to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and most of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the bust’s Eco version. In order for you to achieve the cleanest 3D printed result possible, the head, hand, and arm fragment of the “Pumpkin King" of Halloween Town were separated and come as independent assembly parts. Jack Skellington’s bow tie was also divided into three parts for you to carefully assemble the bat’s wings and head. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and to make sure that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any bust’s file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Jack Skellington's height that is 1830 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.

VERSIONS' SPECIFICATIONS

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 9 parts;
- A printed model is 210 mm tall, 232 mm wide, 157 mm deep;
- Assembly kit includes one lock 9_ge_lock_10H(x1) to connect parts of the bust securely without glue;
- Comes with two head options - the solid one (1_head_FDM) and the one to attach the hand (2_head_for_hand_FDM);
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 5 parts;
- A printed model is 105 mm tall, 116 mm wide, 79 mm deep;
- Comes with two head options - the solid one (1_head_SLA) and the one to attach the hand (2_head_for_hand_SLA);
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 5 parts;
- A printed model is 105 mm tall, 116 mm wide, 79 mm deep;
- Comes with two head options - the solid one (1_hollow_head_SLA) and the one to attach the hand (2_hollow_head_for_hand_SLA);
- The bust is hollowed out to save resin.

SLS 1.0 version features:
- Made as a solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 105 mm tall, 116 mm wide, 79 mm deep;
- Contains 2 parts - Jack Skellington with and without hand.
