Wake up, Samurai! We have a city to burn.

Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X is the ultimate amalgamation of furious speed and impeccable aerodynamics. Reminiscent of the star of the 1988 animated action film Akira, Shōtarō Kaneda's flashy red bike, Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X boasts its own unique design that magnetises the eye with each curve. This truly luxurious bike roars as it flies across the streets of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe and strikes your heart as a bounty you'd want to get your hands on.

Mesmerised by the powerful machine, our contributing 3D artist took it upon himself to translate the fan favourite Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X bike into a model for 3D printing. In the span of 170 hours of the meticulous creative process, the modeller was able to recreate the highly-detailed and elegant body of the bike, paying careful attention to its complex futuristic components and decorative elements. Now, this beast of a vehicle for 3D printing is ready to start its engine and take you on a new, thrilling mission!

Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X 3D printing model is an action assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 40 hours in total. In order to preserve the accurate likeness of the motorcycle, the model was divided into many parts that are to be assembled as if a real vehicle. Taking into account the willingness of our customers to make their 3D printing projects as true to life as possible, Gambody team worked on the highly-articulated assembly of the vehicle that presupposes active suspension of the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X. Thus, various special mechanisms were introduced into the model to make sure that the parts comprising the suspensions, as well as the details of the frame, are authentic and functional (please, see "Versions' specifications", "Assembly video" and photo preview slider). Moreover, the model was divided into as many assembly parts as needed to ensure the cleanest 3D printing result possible and to minimize the amount of material needed to print the generated support, e.g. the motorcycle’s handlebar, kickstand, windshield, front fairing, foot pegs, etc. come as separate STL files. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. The model's assembly requires additional "pins" to secure the parts of the 3D printed Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X. These pins do not come in STL files but can be made out of short pieces of regular 1.75mm filament. The same concerns the shock-absorbing springs and the cable on the platform. These parts do not come in STL files - you can use a regular ball pen spring and a piece of regular cable. We highly recommend that you watch "Assembly video" in the photo preview section before assembling the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from the actual length of Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X that is 2400 mm. The 3D printing model's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS version.

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 63 parts;
- A printed model is 132 mm tall, 149 mm wide, 368 mm deep;
- Comes with a platform to resemble the interior of the repair shop;
- The wheels are cut to ensure convenient printing and assembly;
- There are rotating gear bearings in both wheels;
Wheel tyres can be printed either with plastic filament or with flexible material;
Front wheel:
- The front shock-absorbing spring strut slides in and out of the suspension system. The assembly of the shock absorber requires one regular ball pen spring and a 1.75mm filament pin;
- The connection of the front wheel, fork and the handlebar creates steering axis;
Rear wheel:
- There are two shock-absorbing mechanisms within the rear suspension;
- The assembly of the rear shock-absorbing spring strut requires one regular ball pen spring and a 1.75mm filament pin;
- The swingarm attaches to the frame with a printable pull-back spiral mechanism that also acts as a shock absorber;

- The kickstand can lock in place, either up or down;
- The windshield and headlights are provided separately and can be printed with transparent filament;
- LED wiring to light up the headlights and the battery can be hidden under the front fairing;
- The assembly kit includes various decorative objects that you can print in any quantity and arrange them on the platform in random order;
- It is highly recommended that you watch "Assembly video" in the photo preview section and read "Assembly Manual" in PDF before assembling the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures and so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces.

DLP/SLA/SLS 1.0 version features:
- Contains 36 parts;
- A printed model is 66 mm tall, 75 mm wide, 184 mm deep;
- Comes with a platform to resemble the interior of the repair shop;
- The assembly kit includes various decorative objects that you can print in any quantity and arrange them on the platform in random order;
- The kickstand can lock in place, either up or down;
- Rotating front and rear wheel;
- The windshield and headlights are provided separately and can be printed with transparent filament;
LED wiring to light up the headlights and the battery can be hidden under the front fairing;
- It is highly recommended that you watch "Assembly video" in the photo preview section and read "Assembly Manual" in PDF before assembling the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

- STL files of Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X 3D Printing Model which consist of 99 parts;
- 2 versions of files of this model for FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA/SLS printers;
- High-poly detailed model of Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X;
Assembly Manual for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA/SLS 1.0 versions in PDF format;
- Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Cura, Simplify3D and Slic3r for the best print;
- Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team.

Below you can find printing recommendations for CuraSimplify3D and Slic3r software.

Cura printing recommendations:

These are basic settings that were tested in Cura 4.8.0 slicer.

The test models were printed on Ultimaker 2, Creality Ender 3, Creality CR-10S Pro V2, Anycubic I3 Mega, Anycubic I3 MegaS 3D printers with PLA and PETG filaments.

Disclaimer: The following printing settings are a recommendation, not an obligation. The parameters can vary depending on the peculiarities of your 3D printer, the material you use and especially the particular assembly part at hand. Each part that any model comprises often needs preliminary review and you are free to tweak the settings the way you find suitable.

- You can scale up the model (downscaling is not recommended!);
- All connectors should be printed at 100% Infill;
- For all parts of locks (“ge_lock” in “Source files”) you need to change "Brim" type to "Skirt" in Build Plate Adhesion section.
