Legion 3D figurine for printing is inspired by the science fiction action role-playing video game. It is a geth mobile platform, designed to operate with organics, based on different processes that rely on each other. 

It has several panels mounted on its head which help it simulate facial expressions, such as “brow furrowing”.

Legion video game character is a sapient machine that usually speaks in one word, although it is capable of forming complex sentences in an organized manner. The bipedal geth unit features an antenna on its left shoulder.

Legion 3D model for 3D printing features the video game character’s physical appearance, which has been adapted for 3D printing. The 3D figurine is in static form, mounted on a watermarked support, to facilitate its display on the desk or shelf.

Legion 3D model STL file is created in Maya 3D modeling program. It is a high-poly file, which means that you will be printing a highly surface detailing model. The STL file has undergone a thorough correction in Netfabb and is error-free.

The single file is adjusted to be handled in any 3D slicing software, such as Cura 15.06 or Simplify3D and printed on all types of 3D printers: SLA/SLS and FFF.

After printing, Legion 3D printing figurine will stand 160mm tall, 74mm wide, and 75mm deep.

Print a highly detailed and no error file of one of the bipedal geth.

This model was tested in Cura 15.06. To avoid printing problems, we recommend the following settings:


  • Layer height: 0.1mm*
  • Initial layer thickness: 0.3mm
  • Bottom/top pattern: lines
  • Skin perimeter line count: 0
  • Horizontal expansion: 0.04mm (when entering 0.04mm index, the 3D printer perceives the model as monolith, i.e. as having no hidden layers).

*Layer Height 0.1mm is recommended for a better quality for the printed model. However, the printing time will double.

The model has been tested and printed in PLA. In case you need advice where to get your filaments from, check our partner's website.

Other 3D printing recommendations:

Outer Shell Speed - 20mm/s and Support Speed - 40mm/s settings apply to avoid model deformation.  Apply other settings by default.

Disclaimer: This model will look outstanding if printed on SLA/SLS 3D printer. The accuracy of the model printed on FFF printer can vary from the result shown in the pictures.
