Description

3D model history

The TIE-d Defender Elite stands as one of the Empire's boldest starfighter experiments—an evolution of Grand Admiral Thrawn's TIE Defender project on Lothal. Unlike standard Imperial fighters, the Defender line broke doctrine by including shields, a hyperdrive, and devastating firepower, making it the most advanced TIE of its time. The Elite prototype pushed these innovations further, with elongated wings, reinforced defenses, and overwhelming armament that led even Rebel analysts to call it superior to anything in their fleet. Though the program was ultimately canceled, the Elite remains a symbol of Imperial ambition—a glimpse of a future starship too powerful to mass-produce.

With the TIE-d Defender Elite Pack, you can bring this rare design to life as an upgrade for your existing TIE-d Defender Starfighter 3D print model (sold separately). The pack includes an extended wing set that captures the Elite's menacing profile and a diorama launch platform with a movable mechanism for dynamic display. More than just an add-on, this spaceship 3D model pack lets you complete the story by transforming your TIE Defender 3D print into the Empire's ultimate prototype—a centerpiece for any Star Wars fan and movie STL enthusiast.
