ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE

Be it the Nosferatu clan member from Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game or Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the interest in nocturnal creatures is rekindled every now and then since the moment Bram Stoker’s Dracula was first published in far 1897. “A combination of low-life and high tech” known as cyberpunk also breathed new life into the vampire genre being employed in all kinds of video games, comics and fan arts. The author of the Vampire bust spent 92 hours to present his take on the immortal fantasy beast for all interested 3D printing fans. Cool appearance of the Cyberpunk Vampire bust model can easily become the envy of the oldest and most powerful families in Transylvania. His mouth is opened in rage, baring the sharpest teeth and metal tubes that pass through the bust without any effect may unlikely be found in any Gothic novel but definitely add to Vampire’s formidable image. Even those who have no particular favourite vampire representative will unmistakably list the main characteristics of the undead. They are pale, they suffer the pangs of terrible thirst for human blood and have a very strong aversion to garlic. Stephenie Meyer's vampires sparkle in the sun, the Salvatore Brothers from Vampire Diaries can't go into someone’s home without being invited, Dracula rises from his coffin at night and the absolute majority of them are doomed to eternal life. We dare you to 3D print the Cyberpunk Vampire bust for your supernatural collection and maybe place the model in front of a mirror - after all, this might be your only chance to finally bust the myths of the blood-sucking creatures having no reflection.

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Cyberpunk Vampire Bust for 3D printing is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 47 hours in total. The model’s cutting in its assembly version was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support. Therefore, and also so to ensure the cleanest 3D printed result possible, the earring, as well as the creature’s prosthetic patches of hair, are provided as separate assembly pieces. With the same purpose, both vampire’s jaws, as well as the tongue, were extracted from the bust’s mouth. Besides, some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the bust’s Eco version. All the assembly elements are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Cyberpunk Vampire's height that is 1900 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/3 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/6 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
