Before the black hole swallowed the USS Cygnus, before Maximilian's blades spun into infamy, the USS Palomino was humanity's last scout ship to stumble upon a ghost in deep space. Small, nimble, and clean-lined, this sci-fi spacecraft contrasted sharply with the skeletal cathedral of the Cygnus. Piloted by Captain Dan Holland and his crew, the Palomino approached the drifting Cygnus to investigate—unaware that a descent into madness, mystery, and cosmic horror awaited them inside. The ship's brief yet pivotal role in The Black Hole movie marked it as a classic vintage spaceship from one of Disney's boldest science fiction ventures.
