ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

Silent Hill 2 is one of the most notable psychological horror games of all time. The thrilling and twisted plot of the game, its atmosphere and vivid characters, the locations of the mysterious town of Silent Hill, all these factors definitely contributed to the popularity of the franchise. The Bubble Head Nurse is a female humanoid creature that James Sunderland encounters in Silent Hill 2. The Nurses appear frequently in Brookhaven Hospital and in the streets of dark South Vale and together with Pyramid Head are the main antagonists of the game. Fairly aggressive and armed with steel pipes, they can deal a large amount of damage.

The author of the stunning Bubble Head Nurse for 3D printing was particularly inspired by the appearance of the creature in the sequel. The design of the figurine captures the essence of the character as well as possible: an evil creature with a puppet body remotely resembling a human and similar to a zombie. The head of the Nurse is wrapped in a mask, and only the rows of sharp fang-like teeth are visible under the bandage. The gnarled fingers and limping gait of the humanoid indicate its weakness, but the power with which the Nurse holds the steel pipe and the determination with which she moves towards the enemy indicates how strong and dangerous this opponent can be. Choose Bubble Head Nurse for your collection and indescribable emotions are guaranteed to you!

ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING

Bubble Head Nurse for 3D printing is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took the Gambody team 68 hours in total. The figurines' anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the monster to be depicted harmoniously in the intended pose.

The figurine’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the figurine are connected, Nurse was divided into convenient assembly parts.

All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly Video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to Bubble Head Nurse.

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The figurine’s scale was calculated from the height of Bubble Head Nurse. The 3D printing figurine’s chosen scales are 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.
