The STL files that this version comprises are pre-supported, hollowed out, and have drain holes where needed. Fully revised cutting that improves the way the assembly parts fit into average resin 3D printers. You may choose to print the STL files one by one or several at once, depending on the dimensions of your resin 3D printer's build plate. When slicing several STL files at once, the attachment layers (Platform Touch Shape) may overlap, but the supports must not come into contact. The assembly parts are connected using specially designed integrated connectors that fit securely into the corresponding slots. Optionally, for added strength and rigidity, the static connections can be glued together;

Description

3D model history

"It's alive! It's alive!"

Despite the initial controversy, Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus spawned a cultural phenomenon that voices the fears as relevant today as they were over 200 years ago. The character of Frankenstein's Monster, through the prominent portrayal of Boris Karloff in the 1931 horror filmFrankenstein, tells a blood-curdling story of a sapient creature manufactured in an unorthodox scientific experiment. Does this mystery thrill you?

In the Frankenstein's Monster 3D print model, the author stays true to the gothic atmosphere of the story. Having escaped the windmill laboratory, the creature with a hunched, heavy frame is threading through a chilling landscape. The details in the sculpt are remarkable—the Monster's wrinkled face with scars and stitches, crooked knobby fingers, and the parts of flesh sewn together convey the tragedy of his existence. A must-have 3D print it is!

3D printing model features

Model-specific features:

  • The model's anatomy and proportions were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for the creature to be depicted with utmost realism;
  • To conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model are connected, the model was cut along the contour of the monster's body;
  • The character’s head, hands, torso, legs, feet, platform decorations etc. are provided as separate assembly parts.

Printing & assembly details:

  • Provided as error-free STL files compatible with most 3D printers;
  • Optimized part division minimizes support material and ensures smooth surface detail;
  • The assembly parts in the FFF/FDM version come in the recommended print orientations for easy bed placement;
  • Assembly manual in PDF and video formats is included for both FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA versions;
  • The model is available in recommended scales of 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions, based on approximate height of Boris Karloff's Frankenstein Monster (1980 mm).

What will you get after purchase?

  • 5 versions of Frankenstein's Monster STL files for FFF/FDM, DLP/SLA, DLP/SLA Eco, DLP/SLA Pre-supported, and SLS files for all versions are available for download after the purchase;
  • STL files of high-poly Frankenstein's Monster model for 3D printing consist of 44 files;
  • Sizes for:
  • FFF/FDM: 228 mm wide, 260 mm high, 152 mm deep;
  • DLP/SLA/SLS: 114 mm wide, 130 mm high, 76 mm deep;
  • Assembly Manual for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF and video formats;
  • Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Bambu Studio, Cura, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer, Simplify3D, and Slic3r for the best print;
  • Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team.
