The SoshingekiGoji is one of the first Godzilla suit designs that was used in four consecutive movies within the Showa Era from 1968 to 1972. At the time when advanced technologies and CGI weren’t available to the creators of larger-than-life projects, the process of bringing the monster character to life required great efforts and challenged actors and prop designers. And if different Godzilla appearances may strike as similar, the real kaiju fan will unmistakably tell the Era or even the film a given Godzilla belongs to solely by the looks of the monster. The author of this 3D printing figurine is a well-known kaiju enthusiast so he spent 180 hours to design the legendary and extremely durable SoshingekiGoji figurine for 3D printing. This rubber costume is considered to be even more valuable by fans being the last suit the very first Godzilla stuntman Haruo Nakajima would portray the monster in. The creature that was wreaking havoc upon the towns of Japan is slowly transforming from unstoppable force into a friendly superhero and we have no doubts the 3D printed figurine will add to your awesome kaiju collection.

Godzilla The SoshingekiGoji is a static assembly figurine and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team 56 hours in total. The cutting of Godzilla figurine was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of filament needed for generated support and some of the model’s parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the model’s Eco version. In order to receive the cleanest result possible all dorsal plates located along the monster’s back were extracted and are now provided as 11 separate parts, each having a designated assembly notch. With the same purpose, the monster’s jaws were extracted from the figurine’s mouth and are now provided as two separate parts. The model’s platform was divided in half in the assembly version to fit even the smallest build plates. All assembly parts are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out so to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate.

The figurine is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

The model's scale was calculated from Godzilla The SoshingekiGoji's actual height that is 50000 mm. The 3D printing figurine's chosen scale is 1/250 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/500 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.

FFF/FDM 1.0 version features:
- Contains 33 parts;
- A printed model is 211 mm tall, 167 mm wide, 281 mm deep;
- Assembly kit includes locks to connect parts without glue. One lock 32_ge_lock_10H(x8) needs to be printed 8 times; lock 33_ge_lock_7S(x1) needs to be printed once;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:
- Contains 7 parts;
- A printed model is 106 mm tall, 84 mm wide, 141 mm deep;
- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.

DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:
- Contains 7 parts;
- A printed model is 106 mm tall, 84 mm wide, 141 mm deep;
- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.

SLS 1.0 version features:
- Made as solid one-piece figurine;
- A printed model is 106 mm tall, 84 mm wide, 141 mm deep;
- Contains 3 parts - a one-piece model and the figurine with the platform separated.

- STL files of Godzilla The SoshingekiGoji 3D printing figurine which consist of 50 parts;
- 4 versions of files for this model for FFF/FDM, DLP/SLA, DLP/SLA Eco and SLS;
- High-poly detailed figurine of Godzilla The SoshingekiGoji;
- Detailed settings that we provide as a recommendation for Cura 3.5.1, Simplify3D and Slic3r for the best print;
- Full technical support from the Gambody Support Team.
