This Add-On Kit for the Eagle Transporter 3D model (sold separately) consists of files in StereoLithography (.Stl) format that is optimized for 3D printing.

The model is optimized for 3D printing on DLP/SLA printers using resin as the material. Usually, it is at a smaller scale and consists of fewer parts to save resin and maintain fine details. Some models may also come in an ECO version - with hollowed-out parts to further reduce resin consumption.

ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL
In the Space: 1999 TV show’s universe, the scientific research centre Moonbase Alpha and its tireless workers are assisted by the futuristic Eagle craft. The bulky superstructure of the fictional vehicle is equipped with modular pods that serve a variety of purposes - be it transportation of cargo or hosting VIP guests, the Eagle is capable of everything. Now, you can build it just the way that will serve your needs!
Eagle Transporter Add-On Kit for 3D Printing contains parts to upgrade the Eagle Transporter 3D Printing Model, create its different configurations, or build a diorama. This is a great opportunity to show your creativity and construct a whole world on your desktop.
ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTING
For you to receive the cleanest 3D printing result possible and minimize the amount of filament needed for generated support, the Add-On elements were divided into convenient assembly parts. All assembly parts in the FFF/FDM 1.0 version are provided in STL files in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and that the 3D printing beginners won't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. After downloading any model's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the “Assembly video” and "Assembly Manual" before getting down to the assembly.
The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.
The Add-On parts were designed to match the default scales of the Eagle Transporter model - 1/32 for the FFF/FDM version and 1/64 for the DLP/SLA version.

FFF/FDM 1.0 & DLP/SLA 1.0 versions’ features: - Contain 91 parts each; - Add-on parts were designed to upgrade the Eagle Transporter (sold separately); - Booster Pod and Top Boosters; - Side Boosters; - Vertical Grab; - Cargo Winch Pod; - VIP Pod; - Rescue Pod; - Eagle Pilot; - Moon Rover and Rover Driver; - All parts are divided in a way to fit into average 3D printers of respective types.
