HISTORY OF VF-1S

The VF-1S Valkyrie or Veritech Fighter 1S is a fighter-transformer that was designed on the basis of alien technologies. A huge meteorite landed on Earth in 1999 which turned out to be the SDF-1 Macross alien spaceship. In order to get ready for the time its extraterrestrial owners arrive, the earth dwellers studied the spacecraft and got down to its reconstruction. And those willing to get hold of the ship did make their appearance, though they were not the owners but their oldest and bitterest enemies. Spaceship’s main cannon automatically activated upon their arrival and thus the First Robotech War began. This robot was first seen in 2009 piloted by Major Roy Focker. The VF-1S variant is quite a rare one, it has a much more powerful engine and four anti-aircraft laser cannons.

ABOUT THIS 3D MODEL

The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. When downloading any file of the VF-1S Valkyrie 3D printing model you will also receive instructions on how to assemble the model in a PDF file "Assembly Manual".

Features:
- The model is comprised of 105 parts;
- The model can be assembled with 1.75 PLA pins, 2mm screws and glue;
- Each robot’s part is articulated which allows the model's transformation;
- Can transform into Battroid mode;
- Can transform into Fighter mode;
- Can transform into Gerwalk mode;
- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.

All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown.

Note: Before starting 3D printing the model, read the Printing Details for CURA 3.5.1Simplify3D or Slic3r Software.

Scale: the VF-1S fighter's actual height is 12680 mm in Battroid mode. The model’s chosen scale is 1/45 for the FDM version.

FFF/FDM version dimensions:
A printed model in Battroid mode is 337 mm tall, 154 mm wide, 74 mm deep;
A printed model in Fighter mode is 97 mm tall, 283 mm wide, 321 mm deep.
